#Digikam files windows software
The most important and essential feature of this software is the "Quick Develop" function. But what makes it more interesting is that this amazing photo editing program also includes some basic tools that are especially useful for beginners who want to learn the ropes in editing photos. These features include customizable colors, elimination of red eye, exposure corrections, image stabilization, photo editing tools and so on. Lightroom has plenty of features and tools which are very helpful for photographers. You can also perform a sort by tag match with the built-in keyword search facility of the digital software. In addition to this, you can also add, remove and edit tags and associated keywords. You can create specialized palettes for different kinds of images such as text, logos, tags, icons, buttons or even 3D objects. The software comes with four color management palettes that allow you to experiment with colors and get a feel for how they behave when mixed with one another. The next feature of the digiKam tool that makes it so useful is the color management feature. This helps you manage your photos digitally as desired.

The latest version of digiKam comes with a wide array of creative tools such as merge tool, crop, resize and redraw tool. In addition, the application has powerful tagging tools for assigning tags, ratings. When you want to change the size of a thumbnail, just select it from the selection palette of the software. Using digiKam, you can organize photos, raw files, and videos into albums.

With this feature, you can preview thumbnails of any image and get a preview of how the full image will look when you click on it. You can change the list of file extensions that digiKam will accept, see the Configuration section for more details.

If the file extension is in the list digiKam will show the file in the Image View, provided the appropriate library is installed. I use Linux most of the time, and tried running digiKam a while back in Windows (probably a couple of years back), and the installation was on the buggy side due to all of the KDE libraries required to make it work and it seemed a bit sluggish compared to how it works in Linux. One of the major features of digiKam that makes it so popular is the built-in image thumbnailing facility. It does this by looking at the file extension on the files and checking this against a predefined list. This means that the software has been designed to comply with the ODP specification. DigiKam uses the Open Directory Project (ODP) format to store information about the photos.
